I Wish You All The Best Card

I’ve been using the Cricut cardstock in my last couple of posts. I made the St Patty’s Day card with it and the Just Because card with it.

I liked the paper so much that I think I will use it more with my cards. Like this card.

The base of the card is a pretty light blue.

On top of the base I put an accent piece of coral pearl Cricut paper to make the blue pop. As I mentioned in my previous blog, the company has decided to discontinue this type of paper.

But you can find a lighter color of the coral in their regular cardstock.

My original thought was to split the card with a silky white ribbon but it didn’t turn out that way.

Fiskars Label Punch

For the salutation, I went to the Cricut Design Space and scrolled until I found the I wish you all the best image.

After I switched the image from cut to draw, I used the machine and the Cricut pen called Light Turquoise to draw the salutation out on the coral paper.

Fiskars – Squeeze Punch – Extra Large – Deco Label

Using the Fiskars label punch I punched the label out. It was a bit larger than I would have liked but I made it work.

It was attached to the right, upper corner.

A label punch was used to cut this out while the Cricut was used to drawn the words on the label.

Sizzix Flower Die

I used the die from Sizzix that is called From The Heart Collection. The cool thing is it cuts out three layers of petal flowers. I like this because you can change the layer color scheme of the flower.

The flower layers cut using the Sizzix punch in different colors.
Cut out flowers

The colors I used were the same blue and coral I had already used and a polka dot paper I picked up at JoAnn’s. I made two flowers and put the extra layers aside for a different card.

The petals were glued together.

One was attached to the left, right corner and the other next to it but a little higher.

Flowers petals were layered to make a three dimensional flower.

Costumed Gems And Fiskars Flowers

The left the left upper corner needed something. So I punched out three flowers using the Fiskars flower punch in the same colors as the petals.

I used the Fiskars punch to make the little flowers.

I colored white gems with a Sharpie called Sunset Orange and glued them to the center of the flowers.

I also put an extra sunset orange gem in the left bottom corner. As you can see the ribbon doesn’t even show up but I still like the card.

Wishing you all the best card.
