There aren’t many cards for the New Year out there. So I made my own to give to someone that needs to have a little bit of cheer. There are so many times that we want to see the old year go and hope for a better new year.
This silver striped cardstock is from 12×12 Cardstock Shop. It is by Echo Park Paper Co. and is in the Dots & Stripes Foil collection. And I think the silver and white goes well with the light blue cardstock.
I used Cricut Design Space for the words Happy New Year. I picked a font and maneuvered it to make the perfect sized letters. If you do this, don’t forget to attach the letters so they come out all in one word. I always forget this. Do you?
The stars are a basic shape from Cricut Design Space.
The glitter paper that I used is from the Glitzy Metallics mat stack. I love this stack of different colors of glitter paper. It gets used all the time.
Then I added some eksuccess snowflakes.
Again this is another easy card that can be put together in a flash. Maybe you’re going to a New Year party and want to give the host or hostess something special. This is the perfect card for that.
